Terri Talley, MS, LPCA, NCC
I know that life can be lonely when things get messy, complicated, or hard. But, healing can happen within a kind, nonjudgmental, authentic and empowering therapeutic relationship, which is what I offer individuals that I work with.
I earned a degree in Forensic Psychology and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling before pursuing my PhD. in Mind-Body Medicine with a specialization in Integrative Therapeutic Healing Practices.
I also have extensive training and certifications in trauma, PTSD, crisis, somatic therapies, attachment issues, neuro/biofeedback, sexual issues, abuse, relationships, mood disorders, dream work and dissociative disorders.
Currently, I volunteer as a Guardian ad litem, am a member of the Chi Sigma Iota honor society, am a Victim Service Provider for SC, an associate for Integrated Listening Systems, and I sit on the education and research committees for the International Society for Psychological & Social Approaches to Psychosis.
My current areas of research include the neuroscience of trauma and grief and non-pharmacological interventions for mental health issues.
